We are currently looking for a Trainee Paraplanner to join our clients, a highly successful Independent Financial Practice with a team of advisers who have a wealth of experience. This is a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals, gain hands-on experience and embark on a journey towards becoming a proficient paraplanner. 

Our clients offer a clear career path with excellent progression opportunities in a friendly environment alongside experienced advisers. The successful candidate will have a minimum of R01 and R02 qualifications with the desire to progress and must have worked in an administrative role within an Independent Financial Practice for 2 years.

The successful Trainee Paraplanner will be offered:

  • Basic salary between £28,500 - £30,000

To be considered for the Trainee Paraplanner role you must have:

  • Previous administrative experience working within an IFA 
  • Organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail 
  • Ability to prioritise and be proactive. 
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities for the role of a Trainee Paraplanner:

  • Preparing analysis of the client’s existing portfolio
  • Provision of technical support to Advisers
  • Working closely with the Adviser to research and formulate appropriate advice.
  • Preparation of Recommendation Reports and supplementary documentation
  • Adherence to compliance procedures, core values and high standards of client service
  • Regular liaison with product providers, account managers and clients
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of financial products and markets to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs
