A Norwich-based organisation is seeking a Shop Floor Operative to work within their Calibration Laboratory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for booking in deliveries, warehousing stock, picking and packing for outgoing deliveries, taking orders, supplying quotes to customers, liaising with suppliers, and assisting with other responsibilities as required by the business.

Candidate requirements

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Communication skills - strong verbal and written communication, good phone manner.
  • Physically able to lift heavy equipment.
  • Computer literate - experience on Mac systems is preferable.

Other details

  • Working hours Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm Friday 8.30am - 13.00.
  • Salary - dependant on experience.
