Hugh Crane Ltd are an Arable farming operation in East Norfolk growing a wide range of crops including; Onions, Potatoes, Cereals, Mustard, Sugarbeet and Peas. We are a modern, forward thinking company working to meet the challenges presented by agriculture in the 21st century. We run a fleet of modern John Deere and Massey Ferguson tractors along with an up to date selection of Harvesters and other self propelled equipment.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tractor Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks on the farm including; relief spraying; relief combining; primary and secondary cultivations; muck spreading; hedge cutting; irrigation; forklift work in potato stores.
Duties:
- Safely operate and drive tractors to accomplish set tasks
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Tractor Driver
- Mechanical knowledge forequipment maintenance is beneficial
Requirements and Skills:
- Pa 1 & 2 are essential
- Pa 4 & PASC an advantage
- Forklift and Telehandler certificates are an advantage
