The Diocese is looking for someone to administrate the legal processes required for changes to patterns of ministry of the Church of England in Norfolk and Waveney. The right candidate will invest time in understanding the detail of this complex process and ensure it is followed accurately.

The Pastoral Administrator will provide support across a wide range of tasks and projects, including pastoral reorganisation, pastoral schemes, patronage and suspensions.They will support the relevant governance committee to make informed decisions for organisational change that help the local church to be more effective in its mission and ministry.

We are keen to recruit an individual who can demonstrate:

  • excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • meticulous attention to detail
  • efficient report writing skills
  • knowledge of the Church of England and church structures would be an advantage.
