ThetfordSalary- £48kMonday-Friday-Double days.The company:This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company on the outskirts of Thetford in a challenging, fast-paced but rewarding Maintenance Engineer position.If you are an experienced maintenance engineer from a Manufacturing/FMCG background and would like to take your career to the next level, then this is the role for you!Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks in accordance to plant breakdowns.
- Carry out fault-finding and remedy breakdowns to reduce downtime.
- Use of the companies' CMMS system
- Work closely to support the production teams.
This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/FMCG environment
- Experience of 3 phase motors, pumps, wrappers etc
- Good health and safety practices.
- NVQ /City & Guilds Level 3 in a relevant engineering degree.
