Job Introduction
Project details:Blofield:Replacing the existing single-lane section of the A47 between Blofield and North Burlinghamwith a new two-lane dual carriageway. This will be 70m south of the existing road. We'llmake safety improvements to the Yarmouth Road junction, closing the right turn and addinga dedicated lane to join the A47. We will also add a new bridge over the new dualcarriageway. This will connect the villages of Blofield and North Burlingham, and take trafficfrom Blofield toward Great Yarmouth. In addition, we also are making changes to the eastjunction, with a new two-tier junction connecting B1140 South Walsham Road (north of theA47) with B1140 Coxhill Road (south of the A47)

Tuddenham
Upgrading the A47 between North Tuddenham and Easton in Norfolk to a dual carriageway.This will complete the dual carriageway between Norwich and Dereham.Plus, two new junctions. The first junction will be at Berry's Lane and Wood Lane, and thesecond junction will be located at Blind Lane and Norwich Road and Easton roundabout willbe removed. These improvements will better connect side roads into the new dualcarriageway.

- Ideally QS's who can cover off subcontractor management- Ideally a QS who can cover off purely the utilities package (worth £60mill)- Must be someone who is used to working on highways and utilities diversions- Ideally who can purely work on the reporting side- All must be able to deal with client communications and be strong onthis side- All must be confident in procurement - from low value through to full subcontract packages- Need to be comfortable in managing a job from conception to completion- Senior QS's must be able to cover off all of the above and must also be ableto manage 1-2 QS's- Systems used are: CEMAR, Fastdraft, Orbit (bolt on to Oracle)- NEC 3 or 4 (A, B and C)
Qualifications / certificates required:Degree qualifiedCSCS card
Hours / working pattern:07:30 - 17:30 on site for all roles5 days a week on site ideally
