- Lead and supervise the care team, offering guidance, support, and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations within the residential setting, ensuring that the physical, emotional, and social needs of the children and young people are met.
- Serve as a role model for the team, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a strong commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the wider team and external professionals, ensuring that the needs of each child are met.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to staff members.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with external agencies and professionals involved in the care of the children, ensuring effective communication and a coordinated approach to support.
- Previous experience working with children and young people in a residential care setting, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine interest in the well-being and development of children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and external professionals.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

- Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and evenings.
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years (due to legislative requirements)
