We are seeking a confident and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic team as a Neighbourhood Response Officer. This role is essential in providing a frontline service to ensure our estates are desirable places to live. You will be working in a rewarding environment, supporting vulnerable customers, and preventing anti-social behaviour.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Collaborate with other teams, external agencies, and residents to maintain clean and safe neighbourhoods.
  • Identify improvements and investigate breaches of tenancy.
  • Develop and deliver neighbourhood plans and local offers.
  • Work with local resident groups to develop community facilities, activities, and events.
  • Conduct estate inspections across Surrey, raising repairs on the system, and completing reports on iPads.
  • Engage with residents during inspections, providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform new tenancy sign-ups and tenancy reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Confident and resilient individual with a positive mindset.
  • Sound experience in customer service, preferably within a housing background.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships internally and with external agencies.
  • Experience of working to plans and targets.
  • Proactive and creative in finding solutions with good judgement.
  • Good IT skills, comfortable with using iPads and other systems for reporting.
  • Must have estate inspection experience, evidenced on CV.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have use of own vehicle and be able to drive.

This role is to cover a secondment until September, with the possibility of extension. Interviews will be conducted via Teams, and the successful candidate will meet the team on the first day.
