A dedicated and enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable Special Needs School in Norwich.

Role Overview: As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a diverse range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaborating closely with teachers to cater to individual student requirements.
  2. Assisting students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding.
  3. Providing one-on-one support to students with personal care and Social Emotional needs
  4. Implementing behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.

About Students: Children with complex needs and/or autism. Our provision offers an education to children from reception through to Year 13.

Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying student needs.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK (Mandatory)
  • Proficieny in English Language (Mandatory)
