Hello! We're the Green House Growers....

Our Values: Ownership, Energy, Cultivate, Action and Excellence!

We’ve always been at the forefront of reducing environmental impact, whether that is using bumblebees for production or taking care of every drop of water we use. At our nurseries in Norwich and Ely, we’ve become one of the first growers to use waste heat from water treatment plants and reservoirs, reducing our carbon footprint by up to 60%. We now account for nearly 20% of tomatoes and 25% of cucumbers grown in the UK!

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team centrally as a Welfare and Compliance Officer, this role will sit within the HR team but will focus solely on our seasonal workforce, with the aim to improve the seasonal worker experience across the business. This role will be based at both our Norwich and Ely sites.

  • To take ownership of all clerical and administrative tasks relating to our seasonal workforce, including onboarding and offboarding tasks.
  • To create and manage a seasonal worker returnee database.
  • To communicate arrivals and leavers to site teams, liaising with scheme operators for updates.
  • To manage compliance, including inductions and policy communication.
  • To share any relevant safety updates or policy changes to the seasonal workforce.
  • To manage seasonal workers data on HRIS, ensuring accuracy.
  • To submit payroll reports to the finance team fortnightly.
  • To be the welfare contact for seasonal workers.
  • To organise social and welfare events for our seasonal workers.
  • To support with relevant audits.
