BramahHR are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Cashier to join our clients team based in Nottingham. The Legal Cashier will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:- Process incoming and outgoing payments, including client bills, expenses, and disbursements- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records- Maintain accurate accounting ledgers and journals- Prepare financial reports- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues- Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to financial transactions

Experience:- Proven experience as a Legal Cashier or similar role in a law firm or legal department- Strong knowledge of legal accounting principles and practices- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
