Working with one of the UK's leading firms, we're recruiting a Credit Control Supervisor to join their Nottingham City Office on a permanent basis and as part of a busy finance team.

Minimum Credit Control Supervisor Requirements:

  • High level of experience within a credit management role, ideally as a Credit Control Supervisor or Team Leader
  • Confidence in overseing a team of experienced Credit Controllers
  • Experienced in raising formal recovery including sending pre legal emails, preparing a pre-action packs and following pre action protocols (LBA / LOC) through to a MoneyClaim Online
  • Comfortable liasing with solicitors in relation to outstanding debt
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, comfortable liaising at all levels
  • Highly organised and proactive approach to collections

Ideally you will already have team leading, negotiation and listening skills, will be organised and have a proactive approach to collections and will be determined to see the process through to conclusion. 

The main focus on this role as Credit Control Supervisor will be to effectively lead an experienced Credit Control team in managing and collecting outstanding debt. This includes dealing with escalated debt matters and queries. It is important that you can manage your own workload independently and can manage busy fluctuations in work including year-end.

As Credit Control Supervisor, you'll also be involved in:

  • Organising meetings to review the teams outstanding debts as necessary, both in person (via Teams) and over the telephone
  • Coaching and developing the team as and when required
  • Collecting the debts by telephone, email and letter within defined guidelines, using the in-house Collections software
  • Ensuring all notes are up to date and followed up in a timely manner, and evaluate
  • Overseeing new client procedures, including carrying out money laundering checks and setting up new clients in line with Money Laundering regulations and policy
  • Raising bills in line with the policy

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £32,000 - 36,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Working 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with hybrid working available with 3 days in the office and 2 at home as standard.
