Credit Controller

Sandiacre, NG10

£30,000 - £32,000 per annum

40 hours per week, Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee credit control operations, including the pursuit of debtors and prompt reporting of payment issues to the Directors.
  • Daily posting of receipts to ensure accurate financial records are maintained.
  • Collaborate with team members across various departments to promptly resolve sales discrepancies.
  • Reconcile payments on account and outstanding proforma payments in accordance with company protocols.
  • Communicate with customer services to provide KPI reports on proforma customer order status to the directors.
  • Generate weekly KPI reports on aged debtors, highlighting debts overdue and advising relevant staff on necessary actions.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Finance Director and customer service team to address outstanding debts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit control or a related financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial record keeping and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively.
