Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor | Nottingham, NG17 | 110 - 130 Per Day | Long Term - Permanent | Asap

LTF Recruitment are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor for an inclusive and welcoming secondary school in the Nottingham, NG17 area. The role will include providing support for all school activities, including cover support when teachers are absent. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated and have strong classroom management skills. This role is a great opportunity for an individual with prior experience as a Cover Supervisor or for those hoping to gain more classroom based experience.

This role will be long term, with the opportunity for it to become permanent for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Providing general support to the school and its pupils
• Supervise and lead classes under guidance and instructions set by the teacher
• Communicate with the teacher, providing feedback and updates on student progression and behaviour
• Maintain effective classroom management, ensuring that behaviour is in line with school expectations
• Be motivated and ambitious with a goal to support children to reach their full potential

Experience/ Requirements:

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience within a secondary school setting
• A passion for supporting students to learn and develop
• Experience as a cover supervisor is desirable, however experienced teaching assistant's are encouraged to apply
