Would you like the opportunity to work in a large academy school who is very supportive with progression opportunities and training to support you in your one-to-one role?

We are working with a GOOD Primary academy who need a strong SEND 1-1 behaviour support to join them for 1-1 in year 6.

There is a high probability the role will run into 2025, so applicants must be available for the long term.

As this is a full time 1-1 teaching assistant , you will be expected to take on the role of attending planning and assessment meetings, lead independent work sessions and take on the full responsibility of the role. The pay scales equates up to £100 per day depending on experience.

This GOOD school always receives positive feedback from supply staff after they have spent a day with them.

You will be working with a cohesive and established team who celebrate their success together - consistently achieving year on year improvements for their department's attainment.Applications from strong graduates with SEND, or care workers will also be considered alongside experienced teaching assistants The school in question supports around 482 students. The role:

  • Supporting an SEND pupil with behaviour in year 6
  • Work on differentiated activities to deliver to the student
  • Liaise with the SENCO/Inclusion manager to deliver relevant support to the pupil
  • Develop social/emotional skills of the pupil
  • Work with teachers to monitor progress of the pupil
  • Accompanying the pupil to relevant therapy sessions

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
