You’ll play a pivotal part in the smooth running of business operations, acting as a trusted partner to the Operational Management Lead and wider team and a key point of contact across the business. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Executive Assistant, ideally in a national scale business
  • Excellent diary and email management skills, with a proactive approach to prioritisation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Tech-savvy and confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A flexible mindset with the ability to adapt quickly and work independently
  • A polished, professional manner and commitment to discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a drive to continuously improve processes

Within this position, you’ll also be:

  • Managing a complex diary, including scheduling meetings and preparing relevant documents
  • Acting as a key liaison between the Senior Operational team and internal/external contacts
  • Managing and monitoring the inbox, drafting responses or actioning emails where appropriate
  • Organising travel, hotel bookings, and meeting logistics
  • Preparing agendas, board packs, and taking accurate minutes during senior-level meetings
  • Coordinating and supporting internal projects and initiatives
  • Recording and submitting expenses
  • Attending meetings or providing updates and follow-ups in the absence of senior
  • Supporting event planning, small and large scale

Salary & Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm with some flexibility/hybrid options
  • Salary is up to £50,000per annum
