We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join one of our clients team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage a team effectively and achieve results through streamlined processes. With a focus on accuracy and efficiency, the Accounts Payable Manager will oversee business-to-business transactions, lead a dedicated team, and ensure timely payments.

Accounts Payable Manager

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate)

Full Time, 37.5hrs In Office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the Accounts Payable function, overseeing seamless processing of business-to-business transactions.
  • Lead a team of Accounts Payable specialists, providing guidance to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes to streamline Accounts Payable operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address payment queries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Utilise your expertise in mergers and acquisitions to navigate any related financial transactions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable, preferably with exposure to business-to-business transactions.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Previous managerial experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in handling mergers and acquisitions would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work full-time in an office-based setting in Nottingham.
