Salary: £Negotiable depending on level of experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00
Overtime: Available at x1.5 rate
About the Company:
Our client is a well-established structural steel fabricator with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, bespoke steelwork solutions for the residential sector. Every order is made to measure, with a strong emphasis on precision, craftsmanship, and technical accuracy.
The Role:
They are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating structural steel components from detailed technical drawings. As all work is bespoke, the role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans
- Cutting, drilling, welding, and assembling structural steel components to specification
- Operating workshop machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in structural steel fabrication
- Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Experience operating a steel band saw
- An overhead crane licence (highly advantageous)
- A FLT Counterbalance licence (desirable)
- A full UK driving licence (desirable)
Package Details:
- Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00
- Overtime available at 1.5x standard rate
- Competitive pay based on experience
