The Company

My client, an established Planning Consultancy who specialise in Planning, Master planning, Heritage and Urban design projects since 2004, is looking for an ambitious Town Planner to join the team.

The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity gain knowledge from sector leading professionals, to progress their career and work on exciting projects across Residential, Urban design, Local Plan and Strategic Planning, Rural, Retail & Leisure, Education, Retirement sectors. Essential Criteria for the candidate as a Town Planner

  • RTPI accredited town planning degree or relevant
  • Previous relevant experience.
  • Have good communication and an enthusiastic mentality
  • Hold a UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

The Position as a Town Planner

The position as a Town Planner is for a proactive individual. The successful candidate will have a full or licentiate membership with the RTPI, and relevant consultancy experience. As a Town Planner, you will be meaningfully engaged in conducting research and site appraisals, prepare, submit, and negotiate planning applications, respond to development plan consultations, and be confident working independently.
