Responsibilities of a Private Client Solicitor:

  • Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients whilst ensuring their interests are effectively represented
  • Accurate and efficient file management in all aspects, from consultation to case resolution.
  • Managing a caseload of private client matters such as Wills, LPAs, Deputyship Orders and Probate.
  • Conducting legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to private client services.
  • Collaborating with other team members and departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.

Requirements of a Private Client Solicitor:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in private client law.
  • Proven track record in handling Wills, LPAs, Deputyship Orders, and Probate.
  • Ability to work independently whilst demonstrating initiative and sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to network effectively to develop and expand the private client department.
