The Service
Warwick Flats provides supported long-term accommodation for older people in 22 self-contained flats. We support residents to live as independently as possible in their homes. We encourage everyone who lives at Warwick Flats to have a say in how our project is run and to take part in our regular tenant meetings. We offer a warm and friendly community to support our residents to maintain their independence.

The Role
This is a fabulous opportunity for anyone who is passionate about supporting older people to live a happy and fulfilling life. This role offers a new challenge where you can create and embed your own footprint to make a positive difference.
As a Scheme manager you will provide a housing management service to tenants who live independently within the Scheme, and acting as a coordinator, signposting and liaising with tenants’ families and working in partnership with external agencies to ensure tenant needs are met. You will be responsible for running the scheme, reporting repairs and completing Health and Safety checks to ensure we consistently deliver a high service.
You will manage voids and lettings, ensuring the scheme is maintained and being responsible for tenant engagement and involvement. You will enjoy the company of our tenants and interact with them daily to ensure you, and the team are providing the best possible care that you would want for a family member yourself.

What we are looking for
Our ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of current social housing and housing management issues, as well as knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting older people. They will have demonstrable understanding of people’s human rights, knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene issues, and substantial and demonstrable experience of supporting vulnerable people.
Finally, you will understand the needs of people from diverse social, cultural and racial backgrounds, as you will need to commit and promote NCHA’s CLEAR values and purpose.
Please note you will be asked to complete a work-related test as part of the interview process.
Working Hours
The 21 hours per week will be covered over a minimum of 3 days per week; there is flexibility around which days of the week but working days must be between Monday and Friday. Our Head Office is based in Clifton, and you will be required to attend training here on occasion.
