As a Property Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the property management team in efficiently managing properties. You will assist with various tasks related to property operations, tenant relations, and administrative duties. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both tenants and property management staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in the leasing process, including showing available units, processing applications, and drafting lease agreements.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure that all maintenance requests are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tenant communications, lease agreements, and maintenance requests.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to obtain quotes for services and oversee their work as needed.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure the smooth operation of the property.
  • Communicate regularly with tenants, vendors, and contractors to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing input and feedback to improve property operations and tenant satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in property/lettings.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
