Your new companyYou will be joining a highly reputable main contractor based in Nottingham, working on projects from £5m - £25m. This contractor is highly regarded and have a strong pipeline of work across multiple sectors such as: Leisure, retail, education and industrial. Your new role

  • Cost Estimation:
    • Accurately estimate costs for materials, equipment, utilities, and labour.
    • Analyse specifications and research construction documents.
  • Project Planning:
    • Prepare estimates for project planning, organisation, and scheduling.
    • Set work hours, sequence tasks, and obtain materials.
  • Resource Management:
    • Submit relevant documents and budgets before bid deadlines.
    • Stay updated on the latest estimating technology and industry techniques.
  • Risk Management:
    • Formulate contingency plans and manage risks impacting cost and time estimates.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other teams, conduct site visits, and provide additional services as needed.
    • Regularly report to management and keep clients informed of project status.
