We are looking for an Accounts Assistant Manager to join one of our accountancy clients in Nottingham.

This role will be to assist the Directors with reviewing and finalising accounts preparations, management accounts, and VAT returns.

An insight to the role:
Review an accounts working file and associated tax computations.
Produce an accounts summary and a list of discussion points for the manager or partner.
Work within a budget agreed at the planning stage.
Produce draft tax computations and a provision for inclusion in the accounts.
You will be expected to attend training to further develop and maintain your technical skills and if not yet attained to work towards a professional qualification.
You will be expected to supervise and help develop more junior members of staff.

We are looking for someone who has:
ACA/ACCA qualification, or nearly qualified.
Proven practice experience.
Experience using IRIS and MyWorkPapers is desired, although not essential.
Commercial awareness.
Strong analytical skills.

This is an office-based position in Nottingham.

Salary is up to 45,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits, including career progression opportunities.
