Shirley Parsons have exclusively partnered with a leading consultancy in health and safety and ergonomics who are looking for a motivated Health & Safety Consultant to support with a client's warehousing and fulfilment centre in the Nottingham area. The Health & Safety Consultant will be responsible for:
- Implementing health and safety systems and processes at a warehousing site in Nottingham.
- Conducting risk assessments, audits, and investigations to ensure safety compliance.
- Delivering effective solutions and negotiating their implementation on-site.
- Motivating and training managers and staff on health and safety best practices.
- Managing multiple high-priority situations and communicating effectively with all levels of staff.
The Health & Safety Consultant will have:
- At least two years of health and safety experience, ideally within a consultancy or warehousing environment.
- A dynamic and positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using various health and safety tools and techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports.
- A willingness to travel throughout the UK and work independently without supervision.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and TechIOSH.
- Desirable: NEBOSH National Diploma Level 6 (or equivalent), Cert/GradIOSH.
