*** Experienced Fitters Needed ***

Our client is based in the Bulwell, Nottingham area and looking for an experienced fitter to join their team. As a depot fitter you will be based on site with occasional work off site.

They are looking for someone with an electrical / generator minded / plant experience person.

All training will be provided and we would buddy up with someone for a week or two and make sure that person is comfortable with the job. You must have a Mechanical or Plant Hire background and experience.

Shifts:Monday - Friday

Working Hours:7am - 16.30pm 45 hours (with 30 mins unpaid break).

Salary: 34,187.40 basic salary + overtime paid at time and a half (overtime guaranteed)

Job Description:

  • You will be repairing and maintaining accommodation, both economically and efficiently at depots and on site, ensuring that customer breakdowns are dealt with in a timely manner to limit downtime, and units are serviced in time to ensure hire commitments are met.
  • Ensuring all repair work as a result of customer damage is recorded and paperwork is raised in a timely manner to ensure customer is charged appropriately.
  • Providing own hand tools and ensuring tools are used correctly, adequately maintained, tested before use, and securely stored.
  • Obtaining / requesting from depot stores all parts necessary to carry out repairs and managing Van stock
  • Competent in welding tasks on accommodation units. (Accredited training can be given)
  • Carrying out cosmetic repairs to accommodation units including panel replacement and touch up painting.
  • Joinery and plumbing skills
  • Generator repairs and maintenance
  • Adhere to Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality processes to ensure we are compliant at all time

Requirements for the role:

  • Experience in a fitter role
  • Hydraulics experience
  • Electrics experience
  • NVQ / CIBT Qualification
  • Full clean Driving License
