Thisthriving, professional and innovative business has an immediate vacancy for a Financial Accountant to join their growing team.

From theirstate-of-the-art facility nestled in the picturesque Wiltshire countryside, they offer employees an inspiring hub to work from, with plenty of opportunities to grow.

This role will look manage the Accounts Payable and Receivable team and be responsible forcash management and delivering all statutory, tax and regulatory reporting for the business. A subject matter expert in financial reporting and financial control you will confidently lead and develop our transactional finance team.

Duties include:

  • Leadership and development of accounts payable and accounts receivable team
  • Lead on working capital and reviewing cash performance for the business.
  • Responsible for cash management and cash forecasting for the business
  • Responsible for reconciliation of intercompany balances, balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations to agreed month end timetable.
  • Responsible for the preparation of all statutory, tax and regulatory reporting
  • Responsible for monitoring and improving the internal financial control environment.
  • Proactive in improving processes, and business models.
  • Ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ ACA qualified or equivalent, with strong accounting standards knowledge. You will have experience of preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and filing tax returns, working with an ERP system and experience of invoice discounting and asset finance.

Having worked within a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural or food production/ distribution environment would be a distinct advantage.
