Teaching Assistant
Area- Nuneaton, Coventry, CV10 | Day Rate- £85-£100 | Full time (Term time only) | Start- ASAP
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Teaching Assistant. The role is to provide classroom support on a full-time basis in key stage two. Providing general classroom assistance and delivering interventions to small groups within in the class aswell as supporting children with SEN.
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering tailored learning activities and providing learning support to individuals and small groups of children.
- Engaging, motivating, and encouraging learners.
- Supporting children with SEN
- Assisting the Class Teacher in managing behaviour.
- Record keeping and administrative tasks, such as preparing resources.
Ideal Requirements:
- Experience working in a primary school (Ideally Key Stage Two)
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Teaching assistant or Childcare qualification or relevant degree
- Experience or a willing to work with children with SEN.
- A good team player be able to work with other staff and under direction of class teacher.
- A positive caring and can-do approach
