Your new schoolA large primary school is looking for a full-time teacher to start with them for the new academic year, September 2024 - they have asked for applications from teachers of all year groups / key stages, as they can move things around for the right person and, therefore, do not have a specific year group in mind.They have said they would prefer a full-time teacher. However, for the perfect person, they would consider a 0.8 or 0.9 if you cannot work full-time.I work closely with this school and, yes, it comes with its challenges, but you will be part of an extremely welcoming and supportive team.Your new roleThis role will include all the roles and responsibilities that come with being a permanent teacher. However, this will be a contract via Hays Education. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, PPA time will be given, and you'll have a team to plan with. Effective communication is key, this could be liaising with colleagues, children, parents and outside agencies. You will be asked to attend staff meetings and teacher training days. What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1) students.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Commitment to promoting the well-being and development of all students.
