Lodestone Recruitment are currently working in partnership with our client in Oldham who have a requirement for an Estimator or Technical Sales Engineer. As a key part of the business the Estimator will be expected to take responsibility for a number of large scale fabrication or machined projects and clients to grow and develop both new and existing business.
In terms of the company they are currently experiencing real growth and investment and this is a great time to be joining an established business!
Candidates should have the following experience to be considered for the role:
- Ideally be apprentice trained in Fabrication or have been a Plater, Welder or Machinist
- Experience in working in medium to heavy engineering working in sectors like Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Steel, Defence, Structural or similar.
- Knowledge of managing client enquiries from estimating and technical discussions.
- Be able to quote jobs, carry out tenders and bid management through to closing the sale.

- An excellent competitive salary - £50-60k*
- Hours - 8:30am-4:30pm
