Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Oldham Council's Assessment and Intervention Team. This is a full time role, offering an amazing pay rate of £39 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective services that promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people at various stages of their journey.
  • Have knowledge and experience of Safeguarding and of legislation, regulations and guidance relating to Children's social care together with an ability to assess and manage risk.
  • Duty.
  • Manage a complex caseload.
  • Work in conjunction with partner agencies to deliver effective planning for children and families.
  • Representing the Council at a range of meetings, proceedings and reviews as required.
  • Taking referrals from MASH.
  • Includes assessments and child in need intervention.

Requirements:

  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Social Work England registration
  • Enhanced DBS

  • Children
