Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Inclusion Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with additional needs, helping them to fully engage with the curriculum and school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, ensuring they understand and engage with classroom activities.

Support teachers in creating an inclusive classroom environment that caters to all students.

Help manage classroom behaviour and facilitate a positive learning atmosphere.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support for students.

Monitor and document student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and participating in review meetings.

Assist with the preparation and adaptation of learning materials to suit individual student needs.

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN).

A genuine passion for inclusion and supporting students with diverse needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (SEN) or inclusion support are desirable but not essential.
