Asbestos Surveyor.
In and around London.
Up to £35,000 per year (DOE) + company vehicle.
DKF are on the lookout for an Asbestos Surveyor to join one of our clients to cover the London area. With over 30 years’ experience in the Asbestos industry, they are one of the most established Asbestos Consultancies in the country. Offering a full range of services including asbestos training, asbestos compliance, air monitoring, asbestos surveys, asbestos removal, bulk sample analysis and project management. Regularly completing commercial and domestic projects, including sites within the NHS, local authorities, councils, education, and defence.
What your core responsibilities would be:
·Carrying out thorough asbestos surveys in various sites including commercial and residential properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
·Perform visual inspections, collect samples, and accurately record data to assess the presence and condition of any asbestos present.
·To provide quality services and information to clients, must have knowledge of all current asbestos health and safety regulations and ensure this is maintained.
·Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
·Must hold BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent qualifications.
·At least 12 months experience working in a similar role on all types of buildings.
·Good Health and Safety practices.
·Understand and follow current UKAS legislation and practices.
·Must be IT competent, in order to compile and maintain accurate reports.
·Flexibility to travel in and around London to carry out required Asbestos Surveys and related tasks.
·Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
Benefits:
·Annual salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience.
·Company Vehicle with fuel card.
·28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays.
·Overtime available at 1.5 usual pay rate.
