Relative Groundwork Limited are seeking a dynamic and energetic Manager for their Drainage department. You will be responsible for its day-to-day running and leading the expansion of the division to provide the full range of drainage services to our growing domestic and commercial client base.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver high volume income streams and ensure that costings and spending levels are controlled to achieve financial targets whilst managing the operational teams to hit KPI's, high service standards and productivity targets.

You will be Supported by our Administration, Sales and Operational teams in this role, which requires a leader to steer the team on a successful path as well as having a hands-on approach.

The ideal candidate will have leadership and management experience. You will need to have a great focus on customer service and an understanding of the drainage reactive service delivery industry with the social housing sector with a good understanding and knowledge of NHF SOR coding.

Knowledge of health and safety is essential, You must also be IT literate and hold a full driving licence.

Daily Duties will include

  • Staff management to ensure all jobs are completed safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining stock and plant, keeping records and carrying out safety checks
  • Client meetings, preparing reports and supplying data on performance and service levels
  • Controlling and planning staffing levels, working alongside our OOH's manager
  • Overseeing and training staff in the service deliver of Drainage CCTV surveys
  • Costing, quoting, checking and completing jobs using our bespoke facilities management system from inception through to job completion and post inspection
  • Overseeing and working with our H&S co ordinator to write RAMS and CPP in line with current HSE and CDM requirements
  • Liaising with Clients and Staff to provide specialist technical advice and problem solving of complex issues

Experience 

  • Management Experience within the reactive drainage repairs and maintanence industry
  • Experience of Working safely in line with HSE and industry standards
