We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our night shift team. This role is ideal for individuals who are efficient, safety-conscious, and have a strong work ethic.
Day-to-day of the role:- Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.
- Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
- Taking inventory and processing warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
- Operating handling equipment and ensuring safety regulations are followed.
- Overseeing the dispatch of orders and coordinating with the delivery team.
- Maintaining clear and clean work areas to uphold safety standards.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment.
- Good organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods will be advantageous.
- Competitive hourly rate of £11.50.
