Title:- SEND Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

Location:- Oswestry

Hours:- 8:45am-3:15pm

Salary:- From £11.44-£13.00 an hour

Job Description:-

Excell Supply is currently seeking a dedicated Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant for a school on the outskirts of Oswestry. Extensive training will be provided to the successful candidate. If you believe you have the skills required for this role, please apply now.

Responsibilities:-

·Follow instructions and guidance provided by the class teacher.

·Ensure children's safety both in and out of the classroom.

·Supervise children during playtime and lunchtime.

·Prepare classroom materials, including cutting, sticking, photocopying, and laminating.

·Observe and provide feedback to the class teacher regarding children's learning.

·Effectively manage off-task behaviours.

Requirements:-

·Hold Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification.

·Be an excellent and inspirational class practitioner, with children's well-being at the forefront of all actions.

·Have high expectations for pupils' achievement and behaviour.

·Possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

·Previous experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity.

·Demonstrate transferrable skills such as teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, remaining calm under pressure, caring, and helpfulness.

·Right to work in the UK.

·Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (can be obtained through Excell Supply if necessary).

·All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, or eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
