This Senior Credit Controller role is an essential part of the growth of the credit function in this global business based in Oxford. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the global collection activity and supporting the Credit Manager's implementation of robust group credit policies.

They are a highly esteemed local Oxford employer, offering a hybrid working pattern with 2 days expected in the office each week, and flexible working hours. Please note that there is no parking onsite at their Oxford office.

Description

The Senior Credit Controller will be highly experienced in Credit Control and be looking to work within a dynamic, and fast-paced international company. This individual will be responsible for overseeing our global collection activity and supporting the Credit Manager's implementation of robust group credit policies.

You will have the opportunity to work within a newly formed credit control team, to assist in developing global policies and procedures in collection. You will be the key contact person for regional sections of the credit control function.A highly motivated individual with the ability to work proactively and independently, you must be able to communicate at all levels and across functions.Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of robust Credit Control policies across the Group, optimising processes, and ERP.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating regular review meetings to focus on timely debt collection and meet set targets and timetables.
  • Input regular data updates to be used at the Credit Management Committee.
  • Work in a team of 4 in the UK.
  • Ensure meticulous accuracy and timeliness in updating collection notes and follow-up actions.

Profile

The successful Senior Credit Controller will have:

  • Significant previous Collections experience, ideally within an international business.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to solve it right the first time.
  • Good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with demonstrated success managing multiple priorities.
  • Good working knowledge of an ERP system and Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Dedicated team player, understanding that you deliver as a team, and it is always best when you collaborate to find solutions to problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn with your peers and others and support a culture of resiliency in a continuously changing environment.

Job Offer

The salary on offer is between £35,000 and £40,000 dependent upon previous experience. This role also offers the following:
