Job Title - Data Scientist
Location and Working Conditions - Southeast - Hybrid / remote working with 2 days onsite in Oxford
Salary / Package - £70k-£90k plus benefits including unlimited holidays.
Background
Some companies want to hire a Data Scientist for all the wrong reasons. They're not ready to build a data science team, or they think they need a Data Scientist when, in fact, what they really need is a good engineer or reporting analyst.
I've hired Data Scientists for previous clients in this situation, and 6-12 months after hiring someone, the new hire is bored, frustrated and looking to move on.
So, when I speak to a company where Data Science is at the heart of the business, I am always excitable and feel much more comfortable about hiring them.
So! If you are a Data Scientist looking for a new challenge, where you will work with brilliantly collaborative people in a growing industry, please read on.
It is a brilliant business that is genuinely forward-thinking and growing organically. It seeks bright and motivated people to help it revolutionise an industry, have a positive impact on the planet, and have fun along the way.
