My client is seeking an enthusiastic Data Engineer to construct future-proof pipelines and unearth deep insights from customer data across various sectors. Engage in ground-breaking projects, working alongside Mathematical teams and directly with customers to architect the data backbone crucial for achieving their ambitious objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and building end-to-end data pipelines, both locally and in the cloud (Azure)
  • Advising on system, data, and model architecture during early-stage project scoping.
  • Cleaning, summarising, and analysing datasets to ensure data integrity and usability.
  • Collaborating on the development of mathematical and statistical models.
  • Staying up to date with the latest in data-driven modelling tools and techniques.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, with advanced study preferred.
  • Expertise in Python, with knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
  • Strong Cloud knowledge, preferably in Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in Git, unit and integration testing, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience in relational databases, SQL, data visualization, and ETL pipelines.
