A brilliant primary school based in Oxford are searching for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to join them. They have a vacancy in an EYFS class to support the children and the class teacher with lessons and whole school activity. This Primary school is a teacher training school and therefore the teaching assistant will have the opportunity to complete their teacher training, should they be successful.

The teaching assistant position will involve working with an EYFS class, particularly focusing on numeracy and literacy. The teaching assistant will be taking small group sessions as well as working on a 1:1 basis with the children for example when reading and supporting with spelling. The ideal candidate will have a degree (ideally a 2:2 and above) and will have a minimum of a C in both Maths, English and Science at GCSE. Previous experience working with children in some capacity is desirable for this position.

The Head Teacher has been in leadership for several years and takes on a hands-on approach. They have a fantastic record of producing outstanding teachers through their teacher training programme.
