The CPN (Community Psychiatric Nurse) role is a full-time on-site position based in Oxford. As a CPN, you will be responsible for providing mental health support and care to individuals within the community. Your day-to-day tasks may include assessing and diagnosing mental health conditions, developing care plans, delivering therapy sessions, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective treatment. Qualifications
- Registered mental health nurse qualification Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration
- Demonstrated experience in providing mental health support and care
- Excellent knowledge of mental health conditions, treatments, and interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach
- Organizational and time-management skills Ability to adapt and respond to challenging situations
