We are looking for an Alternative Provision learning support worker to join the team based in Oxfordshire working with children from aged 5 to 16. Our Learning Support team work alongside our students to re-engage with their learning by helping them to overcome the difficulties that present as barriers to their learning and success in school.
You will be part of a passionate and dedicated team making a real difference to children and young people’s lives.
We are looking for someone who possesses a variety of special skills which can be used when working with children, young people and their families: eg: therapeutic mentoring; mental health first aid; safeguarding; managing challenging behaviour; academic support in the classroom.
This exciting and varied role will provide you with a wide range of experiences, including:
? key working individual students
? developing your skills in working with children with SEMH/ASD/Mental Health difficulties
