A lovely specialist school in Oxford are on the hunt for a Mental Health Support Worker to join their team starting as soon as possible.
A little more about the role:
The school:
- Looks after students who struggle with learning difficulties and mental health needs
- Students are between the ages of 4 and 19
- Amazing children!

- Encourages teaching children life skills to help them be as independent a possible
The opportunity:
- Supporting the students with their needs alongside helping them manage their diagnosis
- Ensuring the classroom is a fun and engaging environment
- Helping the children manage and process their emotions
- Facilitating any interventions
- Supporting the class teacher
What you need to succeed as a Mental Health Support Worker:
- A positive attitude
- Be enthusiastic, kind and compassionate
- Interest in mental health and helping children live their best life
- The ability to take initiative well
