A growing client in Oxfordshire are looking for an Aviation Delivery Manager to
Main responsibilities

  • Raise and manage all new purchase orders (PO). Work closely with relevant programmes and Group on securing new airframe slots for UK market
  • Manage POs through the production phase and raise associated Amendments as required.
  • Arrange delivery schedules with relevant airframe programmes.
  • Supply relevant programmes with CAA data e.g. hexadecimal codes
  • Work very closely with Technical Services / CAA
  • Inform and keep Logistics Dept. up to date on any new airframe PO, project numbers and associated Amendments and price changes.
  • Liaise with the Finance Dept. on new arrivals and delivery schedules.
  • Liaise with pilots and make appropriate arrangements for ferry flight to the UK or, if required, the airframe is shipped by road; make arrangements for truck shipping.
  • Advise AHUK Contracts of helicopter build specification and associated build amendments for local change orders and contracts.
  • Work with AHUK Export Control Officer for the importation of new helicopters into the UK

Delivery

  • Responsible for the handover and delivery of all new helicopters and completion to the final customer.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and ready for acceptance.
  • Ensure all loose equipment, vendor manuals, documentation etc. is available for customer inspection.
  • Arrange and write the associated acceptance protocol.
  • Work with the relevant project managers for successful delivery, advise pilots for customer acceptance air tests.
  • Arrange meeting rooms and associated hospitality of the customer during the handover phase.
  • Advise AHUK Technical Services to raise change of ownership paperwork etc. with local CAA.
  • Ensure invoices are sent to the customer for final payment.
  • Liaise with accounts for receipt of money.
  • Ensure Bill of Sale is raised.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction forms are completed.
  • Ensure customers have a pleasant experience throughout AHUK.

ACH

  • Support ACH UK on all topics regarding build specifications, options and interiors for new helicopters.
  • Liaise with relevant programmes on materials, paint specifications of new build ACH. airframes. Work closely with ACH reps to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Arrange final delivery date and acceptance / handover of completed helicopter.

National Resilience

  • Support on all topics regarding build specifications, options, role equipment and interior layout for new helicopters - Police, EMS or Utility.
  • Liaise with relevant EMS interior suppliers on customer requirements.
  • Arrange final delivery date and acceptance / handover of completed helicopter.

General

  • Assist as required with any general enquiries regarding AH products both internally and externally.
  • Attend relevant shows, seminars or conferences.
  • Visit prospective customers with Sales reps to support the sale of a new helicopter.
  • Support Offers and Contracts as required.


Knowledge and Skills
Essential

  • Relevant experience in direct customer contact.
  • Good understanding of Airbus procedures.
  • Sales or contracting experience.

Desirable

  • Able to communicate well with fellow workers and customers.
  • Methodical and accurate approach.
  • High commercial and financial awareness.

Education, Qualifications or Training
Essential

  • Degree qualified or equivalent.

Additional requirements

  • Due to the nature of this position you will require DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance.
  • Applicants must meet any/all requirements of Export Compliance Regulations.
  • Due to the nature of the role, occasional travel outside of the UK is expected.
