STEM RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join their team as a dispatch Coordinator. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about ensuring efficient operations, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview:

As a Dispatch Coordinator, you will lead a small team to ensure the seamless execution of material management, distribution, and logistics activities. You will work closely with the departmental Supervisor to meet performance targets, proactively report issues, and implement departmental strategies. Your role will also involve covering various daily tasks and leading the team in the Supervisor's absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Despatch Coordination: Oversee shipment planning, picking, and packing to meet internal and external customer requirements. Manage distribution stock levels, including shippers, coolant conditioning, and temperature monitors.
  • Timely Delivery: Ensure all materials (raw, finished goods, chemicals) requested by internal customers are picked and delivered on time. Update relevant systems to record stock dispositions.
  • Stock Management: Govern material and stock replenishment within the warehouse, maintaining 5S standards and ensuring departmental housekeeping is always 'audit ready’.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality-related activities and ensure tasks are performed to the highest standards.
  • KPI Management: Record and analyze key performance indicators, sharing trends with departmental management.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with statutory/regulatory requirements, Health & Safety policies, and cGMP principles.
  • Continuous Training: Engage in ongoing training and assessment, maintaining an accurate training record.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise records for all work performed, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong leadership and coordination abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to act as a key link with manufacturing teams.
  • Flexibility and willingness to support the changing needs of the business.
  • Competence in adhering to and maintaining high standards of compliance and quality.
  • Ability to manage and analyze data to report on KPIs.
