Operations and Experience Manager

My well-established client is looking for an Operations and Experience Manager to join their ever-growing team. They offer a role that includes a variety of key tasks in the business such as leading managers to drive commercial success, coaching staff to ensure standards are high, work with other managers to ensure customer satisfaction is at a premium and much more. The role is based in Penrith and is ideal for someone who is looking to grow within a business and increase profits.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Inspire and Lead: Motivate and guide Managers to achieve commercial success.
  • Deployment Optimization: Work with each Manager to establish clear shift deployment plans, maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Recruitment and Compliance: Implement robust recruitment and succession plans to maintain 100% compliance with the organisational structure.
  • Performance Assessment: Conduct weekly site visits to identify improvement areas, working with Managers on action plans.
  • Training Compliance: Ensure proper training for all colleagues within each station.
  • Business Protection: Foster commercial awareness among Managers, minimizing cash and stock losses.
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of customer seating areas, indoor/outdoor spaces, and wash-up areas.

  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, establish clear expectations, and foster a positive work culture.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical skills to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
