Are you a skilled and experienced Sub Agent seeking a challenging role in the dynamic field of civil engineering, specifically within the nuclear sector? Our client, a prestigious Tier 1 contractor, is searching for a talented individual to join their team and contribute to the success of a groundbreaking nuclear project.

Company Overview: As a leading Tier 1 contractor, our client is renowned for delivering high-profile infrastructure projects with excellence and precision. With a commitment to innovation and safety, they are at the forefront of shaping the future of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Take ownership of designated sections of the project, overseeing all aspects of construction activities from initiation to completion.

  2. Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractors effectively, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

  3. Site Supervision: Provide on-site leadership and supervision to ensure that construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and according to schedule.

  4. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and compliance with project requirements.

  5. Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments to mitigate hazards and promote a safe working environment.

  6. Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the civil engineering sector, with exposure to nuclear projects being highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH) would be beneficial.
