We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team for a 6-month contract.
What you will do:
- Oversee and manage all health and safety protocols within the plant.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits.
- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety best practices.
- Investigate and report on any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with management to foster a culture of safety within the workplace.
What you will need:
- NEBOSH Diploma (we will also consider candidates with a NEBOSH General Certificate).
- Proven experience in a Health and Safety Manager role within a manufacturing, engineering, or similar background.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
