Air Testing Technician
My client offers approved inspector services to their clients and provides guidance on how to comply with British building regulations. They specialize in projects related to both residential and commercial sectors. My client offers professional guidance throughout the entire life cycle of development to ensure that their clients remain compliant and avoid the need for changes or any negative outcomes resulting from their developments. The role of air testing is crucial in projects that are in the early design phases and can impact the viability of a project.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comprehensive understanding of building regulations and construction industry guidelines
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
- Possesses a Full UK driving license
- Proficiency in key modelling and IT software packages
- Valid Level 1 or Level 2 ATTMA certification
Duties/Reasonability
- Accurately perform tests, document the results for analysis, and produce ATTMA short reports using an electronic system.
- Be flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Conduct assessments in accordance with the key test standards established by ATTMA for both TSL1 dwellings and TSL2 non-dwellings
- Identify defects, if any, in the event of test failure
- Provide technically sound advice to clients and maintain effective communication with them
