We are working with education settings across Cornwall to support them with Invigilators during the examination period. Whether you are looking for a few hours, or hoping to help out during the whole period, we would love to hear from you!

Together with the exams team, you will support the smooth running and supervision of exams. We are looking for Invigilators, Scribes, Readers and Tech Support, and full, free training will be provided.

The duties of the roles could include;

- Assisting with the set-up of the room.

- Supervising the entry of students, ensuring they are sat in the correct place according to the seating plan.

- Ensuring pupils are registered, and provide a clear brief of the expectations.

- To act as a reader or scribe if necessary.

- Provide assistance through the exam by answering any questions, providing additional exam materials or addressing any issues.

- Actively monitor throughout the exam to ensure compliance with regulations.

- Collect and deliver exams to the correct person, following strict procedures.

As part of our commitment to safeguarding, this role will be subject to satisfactory:

• DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Reference checks
• Safeguarding checks
